Profile Summary: The Plumbing Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance
of plumbing systems in various construction projects. This includes ensuring that all plumbing work
complies with industry standards, local codes, and project requirements. The Plumbing Engineer will
collaborate with other engineering disciplines and construction teams to deliver high-quality projects
on time and within budget.

• Installation: Install and set up plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, according to building codes and specifications
• Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctions in faucets, toilets, water heaters, and heating/cooling systems
• Inspection: Conduct inspections to identify problems, assess the condition of plumbing systems and technical equipment, and recommend repairs or replacements as needed
• Pipe Work: Install, repair, or replace pipes, fittings, and valves for water supply, drainage, and heating/cooling systems
• Technical Equipment: Service and maintain technical equipment like HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, electrical systems, and appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely

• Reading blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the
• layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems.
• Cutting, assembling and installing pipes and tubes with
• attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)

• Painting; Electrician; Mechanical, Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC, Civil etc.
• Maintain the hotel in your qualified trade to the desired standard
• Daily inspection and rectification of all public areas in relation to your trade
• Complete the daily tasks assigned by the Supervisor
• Initiate/identify project work required in light of your trade throughout the hotel
• Assist the Shift Engineer with the design of a preventative maintenance program
• Ensure plant rooms are checked and cleaned and are in operating order

• To report for duties well-groomed and in proper uniform (Haircut, Nails, Uniform, Shoes, Pad, pencil etc.).
• Attend briefing before start of shift and debriefing at the end of shift.
• Check the menu and note special instructions from the supervisor at the beginning of the day.
• To do all 'mis-end-place' correctly before the service time to ensure agreed standards of service.
• Provide food and beverage services in a proper manner.
• Speak in an empathetic tone and communicate all information to his supervisor.
• Keep track of all food services made during his shift by maintaining proper service delivery and clearance records at the site.
• Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
• Take proper handover at the beginning of the shift and give correct handover before leaving (including service and clearance cards).
• Ensure proper 'mis-end-place', and see that clean, dry and proper equipment is used as per the SOP laid down.
